Walkman, iPod, iTunes. 3 things that changed the way we listen to music.
The days of owning music are heading out the window. For me, having access to huge amounts of music, on tap, fulfilling any music craving I have, at any given moment far outweighs been able to hold it on a small hard drive.
Enter Spotify.
Basically this is a music service that streams music content to you and does it for free. Really?!? Yes really. The £££ is made through advertising, usually one 30 second commercial every 20 minutes. Which is not too bad. If you can’t stand the thought of this, you can pay a monthly subscription and the ads will disappear. Perfect solution.
This service could be delivered anywhere in the future, car music systems, radio in your kitchen, mobile phone. Oh yes, this is the next big step, streaming to the iPhone! Mmmmm.
